I'm Ceddy Ang, a passionate food content creator, and I'm on the lookout for a dynamic and creative Personal Assistant/Video Editor to join my team. Based in Shah Alam and frequently traveling across the Klang Valley and beyond, you'll be an essential part of a journey that celebrates food, culture, and connection. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Creation: Assist in creating and editing videos for social media platforms. The role involves actively participating in shooting and editing videos. Familiarity with CapCut is preferred, as it allows for collaborative editing and accessibility. In this position, you won't be left to handle everything alone; this is a partnership. I will share my workflow and thought processes with you, ensuring a seamless collaborative environment for both shooting and editing tasks.

  • Errands and Miscellaneous Tasks: Handle a variety of personal and professional errands as needed. An appreciation for and ability to manage tasks involving dogs is highly valued and will be a significant plus in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Punctuality and Organizational Skills: Candidates should have outstanding organizational and time management skills. Punctuality is key; arriving earlier than scheduled for events or job commitments is appreciated to ensure everything runs smoothly.

  • Proficiency in Video Editing and Social Media: Proficient in video editing, with a preference for CapCut. However, familiarity with other editing software like Adobe Premiere is also welcome. Should be adept with various social media platforms and able to quickly adapt to new software and digital content trends.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Must demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and convey information. Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Melayu is required to cater to a diverse audience.

  • Flexibility in Work Hours: Prepared to work flexible hours, accommodating schedules that may include evenings, weekends, or early mornings. Given the unconventional nature of my career, late-night work might be required, but schedules will be planned collaboratively to prevent overworking.

  • Willingness to Travel with Own Transportation: The ideal candidate must have the ability and willingness to travel with me outside of Klang Valley to other states or countries as job requirements dictate. It's essential that you possess your own car for local travel. This role requires adaptability to different environments and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and efficiency while on the move.

  • Proactive and Independent Work Ethic: Looking for someone who takes a proactive approach to tasks and can work independently. The ability to anticipate needs and initiate action in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

  • Discretion and Trustworthiness: A high level of discretion and trustworthiness is essential, particularly when dealing with confidential information or sensitive situations.
